Off Broadway Corona Theater is excited to announce auditions for INTO THE WOODS
James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim take everyone's favorite storybook characters and bring them together for a timeless, yet relevant, piece and a rare modern classic. The Tony Award-winning book and score are both enchanting and touching.
Auditions are December for 6th & 7th 6 - 9pm
Callbacks will be December 14th by invitation only.

All actors must be at least 15 years old to Audition unless auditioning for the role of Jack. Please prepare 32 bars of music from the show or another Sondheim musical. An accompanist will be provided. No acapella singing will be permitted. Bring a headshot, resume & sheet music.
If you are unable to attend the audition in person, you may submit a video for consideration - It must be submitted no later than December 5th. The email must include your headshot, resume, a list of all conflicts and your video. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for questions or to submit. You will be required to attend callbacks in person.
Rehearsals begin January 24th . (Weeknights from 6 - 10pm, Saturdays 8:30am - 12pm) Cast will only be called for specific rehearsals when they will be used. Tech week begins March 20th at the Corona Civic Center Theater. Invited Dress Rehearsal is March 24th. Performances March 25 - April 3. Be prepared to disclose all conflicts at auditions.

Narrator - An intellectual and pleasant story-teller who helps to orchestrate the show and illustrate lessons to the audience.
Range: G2 - E4
Cinderella - A young, earnest maiden who is constantly mistreated by her stepmother and stepsisters.
Range: G3 - G5
Jack - The feckless Giant killer who is 'almost a man.' He is adventurous, naive, energetic, and bright-eyed.
Range: B2 - G4
Jack's Mother - Browbeating and weary, Jack's protective mother who is independent, bold, and strong-willed.
Range: Bb3 - Gb5
Baker's Wife - Determined and bright woman who wishes to be a mother. She leads a simple, yet satisfying life and is very low-maintenance yet proactive in her endeavors.
Range: F3 - G5
Cinderella's Stepmother - The mean-spirited, demanding stepmother of Cinderella.
Range: A3 - F#5
Florinda & Lucinda - Cinderella's stepsisters who are black of heart. They follow in their mother's footsteps of abusing Cinderella.
Range: C4 - Ab5
Cinderella’s Father – Distant and uncaring. More looking for ways to move up the social ladder.
Little Red Ridinghood - A spoiled young girl who is strong-willed, quick-wited, fearless, yet youthful and naive.
Range: Bb3 - F5
The Witch - Sarcastic, ugly-then-gorgeous, obsessive protector of Rapunzel who is straightforward and aggressive.
Female, 35-55 yrs old
Mysterious Man - A mischievous vagrant and nosy meddler. He is a good-natured protector and observer.
Range: G2 - Eb4
Wolf - Hungry and insatiable hunter who takes advantage of the weak by misleading and captivating his prey.
Range: Bb2 - Gb4
Rapunzel - A loopy-but-lovely maiden who is sheltered by the Witch and terribly lonely. She yearns to experience the world.
Range: B3 - A5
Cinderella's Prince - Vain and gorgeous, he is a disloyal lover who is currently searching for the next new, exciting thing.
Range: B2 - F4
Rapunzel's Prince - Just as vain and gorgeous as his Prince brother, he is always chasing the newest, most exiting endeavor.
Range: C#3 - E4
Steward - Cinderella’s Prince’s right-hand man. Snobbish and decietful. Takes bold action when needed.
Giant (offstage - voice only) The Giant's wife is an angry and vengeful 'monster.' She is seeking restitution for her loss.
